Ruben Quesada

Ruben Quesada’s forthcoming collection, Brutal Companion (Barrow Street 2024), won the Barrow Street Editors Prize. He edited Latinx Poetics: Essays on the Art of Poetry (University of New Mexico 2022), a Gold Medal winner from the Independent Publisher Awards. Quesada’s previous works include two chapbooks and the poetry collection Next Extinct Mammal (Greenhouse Review 2011). His writing has appeared in Best American Poetry, The New York Times Magazine, Seneca Review and elsewhere. He teaches literature and writing in the low-residency MFA programs at Antioch University and Cedar Crest College.
