Zang Di

Zang Di 臧棣, a poet, critic, translator, and editor, was born in Beijing in 1964. He was educated at Beijing University and received his Ph.D. in literature in 1997. Now an associate professor at Beijing University, he has taught in the US, Japan, and Taiwan. Widely acknowledged as the leading poet-critic of his generation, Zang has published many books of poetry, most recently the collected Horseback Riders and Soymilk (2015), and edited several major anthologies of modern and contemporary Chinese poetry.
