Yi-Ping Ong

Yi-Ping Ong's story "Marriages are Made in Heaven" was recognized in Best American Short Stories 2004 as one of the 100 Distinguished Stories of 2003. She is the author of Philosophy in the Golden Age of the Novel, and Art of Being: The Poetics of the Novel and Existentialist Philosophy, forthcoming from Harvard University Press in 2018. She holds a PhD from Harvard and at teaches at Johns Hopkins University.
