Treva Wurmfeld

Treva Wurmfeld is a filmmaker based in Los Angeles. Her directorial debut, Shepard & Dark, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2012 and won top awards at the Woodstock International Film Festival, the Cleveland International Film Festival, and the Florida Film Festival. Shepard & Dark was an official selection at the Cannes Film Festival, and Wurmfeld was nominated for the Caméra d’Or prize. It was released by Music Box Films in the Fall of 2013 before landing with Oscilloscope Films in 2020. Wurmfeld’s second feature, Conscience Point, premiered at the Hamptons International Film Festival and was broadcast on PBS Independent Lens in 2019.
