Monica Youn

Monica Youn is the author of Blackacre (2016), which was named one of the best poetry books of 2016 by the New York Times, the Washington Post and BuzzFeed. Her previous book Ignatz (2010) was a finalist for the National Book Award. A former lawyer and the daughter of Korean immigrants, she currently teaches at Princeton University. She was a pledged delegate for Barack Obama at the 2008 Democratic National Convention.
