Michele Oka Doner

Michele Oka Doner's career as an artist spans four decades and encompasses sculpture, furniture, jewelry, public art, and functional objects. She is known for her numerous public art installations, including “A Walk on the Beach,” at The Miami International Airport (1995–2008). Her sculpture and functional objects are in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs at the Louvre, and the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum.
