Michael Goldman
While working on a pig farm in Denmark over 30 years ago, literary translator Michael Goldman taught himself Danish to help him win the heart of a lovely Danish girl. He has received numerous translation grants for his work with 6 distinguished Danish writers. Over 95 of Michael’s translations have appeared in more than 30 literary journals. His new books from Spuyten Duyvil Press include translations of Knud Sørensen’s farming poetry, Farming Dreams, and the novel Stories about Tacit by Cecil Bødker.
