Marjorie Sandor
Marjorie Sandor is the author of four books of short fiction and creative nonfiction, and the editor of a short-story anthology, The Uncanny Reader (St. Martins Press, 2015). Her linked story collection, Portrait of my Mother, Who Posed Nude in Wartime (Sarabande Books) won the 2004 National Jewish Book Award. Stories and essays have appeared in such journals as AGNI, the Georgia Review, and Opera News, as well as in several anthologies, including the Best American Short Stories. She is also the recipient of a Pushcart Prize. She lives in Corvallis, Oregon, and teaches in the MFA Program at Oregon State University.
