Jonathan Robinson Appels

Jonathon Robinson Appels (1954–2021) was a poet, choreographer, and scholar of dance and literature practicing in New York City and Cambridge, Massachusetts. He received a PhD in Comparative Literature from the CUNY Graduate Center in 1999 and taught at Columbia, Rutgers, and Fordham University. He was a Fulbright scholar in Hungary and Belgium and published a collection of poetry, Ship Desert Boat Cargo (Printing Press, 1981).
