Joanna Solfrian

Joanna Solfrian’s first book, Visible Heavens, was chosen for the 2009 Wick Prize. Her poems have appeared in Rattle, Southern Review, Pleiades, Image, Spoon River Poetry Review, and the art exhibit Speak Peace: American Voices Respond to Vietnamese Children’s Paintings. She is the recipient of a MacDowell Fellowship and has been nominated for two Pushcart Prizes. She lives with her family in Brooklyn, New York.
