J. David (they/them) is a queer Ukrainian-American geneticist and writer living in Cleveland, Ohio. They are the chief poetry critic for the Cleveland Review of Books and editor-in-chief of Flypaper. A Baldwin House Fellow, their work has appeared or is forthcoming in Salt Hill, The Colorado Review, Redivider, Passages North, and elsewhere.
