Ellen Phelan

Ellen Phelan received her MFA from Wayne State University and has exhibited at the Paula Cooper Gallery, Senior and Shopmaker Gallery, and Laurence Miller Gallery among others. She has taught at several colleges, including the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts at Harvard University, and is the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts. Her work is in the collection of MOMA, the Metropolitan Museum, the Whitney, and the Fogg Museum of Art among others. She lives and paints in New York City.
