Elise Juska

Elise Juska's short stories have appeared in Ploughshares, Gettysburg Review, Missouri Review, Hudson Review, and other places. She was the recipient of the Alice Hoffman Prize for Fiction from Ploughshares, and her work has been cited as distinguished by Best American Short Stories. Her novel-in-stories, The Blessings, was published in 2014 and selected for Barnes & Noble's Discover Great New Writers series. A new novel is forthcoming in Spring 2018. She lives outside Philadelphia and directs the undergraduate Creative Writing program at the University of the Arts.
