Duncan Wheeler

Duncan Wheeler is the Hispanic Studies Editor of Modern Language Review and Series Editor of Spanish Golden Age Studies for Peter Lang International Publishers. His most recent monographs are La puesta en escena del teatro áureo (Reichenberger, 2020) and Following Franco: The Cultural Politics of Spain’s Transition to Democracy (Manchester University Press, 2020). He writes regularly for the TLS, Guardian, Economist and The London Review of Books and holds the Chair of Spanish Studies at the University of Leeds.
