Dariusz Sośnicki

Dariusz Sośnicki is a Polish poet and essayist. He was co-editor of the artzine Juz Jest Jutro (1991–94) and co-founder and co-editor of the influential Polish literary biweekly Nowy Nurt (1994–96). In 1994 he published a collection of poems, Marlewo, which received the Best First Book Award from the magazine Czas Kultury. In 2002 his fourth collection of poems, Symmetry, was shortlisted for the Polityka Passport Award and won the New Books Review Prize. The World Shared was published by BOA Editions in 2014. He lives in Poznan and Warsaw, where he works as editor of contemporary Polish fiction.
