Chibuihe Obi Achimba

Chibuihe Obi Achimba is a poet and essayist from Nigeria and a visiting poet at Harvard University Department of English. He is the author of the poetry chapbook hallowed (Damaged Goods Press, 2019). He has been published or featured in The New York Times, Guernica, Adirondack Review, Arrowsmith Press, Heart Journal, Cosmonauts, and elsewhere. He was a finalist for the 2018 Gerald Kraak Award and have received nominations for both the Pushcart Prize and Best New Poet anthologies. Chibuihe will serve as the 2020 Summer Visiting Artist at Oregon Institute for Creative Research and will resume in the Fall as an MFA candidate at Brown University.
