Aviya Kushner

Aviya Kushner is the author of The Grammar of God: A Journey Into the Words and Worlds of the Bible (Spiegel & Grau/Random House 2015), a finalist for the National Jewish Book Award. Her work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the Gettysburg Review, and others. She is an associate professor of creative writing at Columbia College Chicago and a contributing editor at A Public Space.
