Ananya Kanai Shah

Ananya Kanai Shah was born in Boston and raised in Ahmedabad, India. Her debut manuscript of poetry, Abstract Art and Other Concerns, was a finalist for the Fordham Poetic Justice Institute's Editor's Prize. Her work has appeared in The Yale Review, Ploughshares, The LA Review of Books, SUSPECT, Indian Literature (managed by Sahitya Akademi, India's national academy of letters), and other magazines. She holds an MFA from NYU.
