Allison A. deFreese’s translations of Verónica González Arredondo’s poetry won the 2020 Pub House Books (Montreal) International Chapbook Manuscript Competition. A 2021 NEA Literature Translation fellow, she coordinates literary workshops for the Oregon Society of Translators and Interpreters.
