Re: No Subject

Within five seconds,
you will be redirected

to the site of the earliest
sparks. Guards are sleeping

in the haystacks to keep
elk from the cattle’s fodder.

We meant to put you
in the brackets, [first name].

Please add your name
to the list. Generations

of Americans have looked
up from washing dishes

through the window
over the sink and met

the eye of a single coyote
before it turned back into

the woods, or turned back
into whatever it actually was.

Covered burrows riddle
the fields, and something

breathes in the burrows.
If you are not redirected

within five seconds,
try climbing the tower

and dragging your eyes
slowly over the grass.
