Jessica McDiarmid

Jessica McDiarmid is a Canadian journalist who has worked across West Africa and North America. She has written for the Associated Press, the Toronto Star, the Canadian Press, Harvard Review Online, Maisonneueve, and Canadian Business, among others. Her first book, Highway of Tears, was published in 2019 by Doubleday (Canada) and Atria (US) and was a finalist for the 2020 RBC Taylor Prize for nonfiction.
