Heather Clark

Heather Clark is Professor of Contemporary Poetry at the University of Huddersfield, UK, and the recipient of a 2017-18 NEH Public Scholar Fellowship. She has been a Fellow at the Leon Levy Center for Biography at the Graduate Center, City University of New York, and a visiting scholar at the Oxford University Centre for Life-Writing. She is the author of the award-winning The Grief of Influence: Sylvia Plath and Ted Hughes, and The Ulster Renaissance: Poetry in Belfast 1962-1972. She has published widely on twentieth-century British and Irish poetry and is currently working on a literary biography of Sylvia Plath, to be published by Knopf.
